Qualifications
Qualifications To perform the job successfully, the candidate must have the following qualifications:
Knowledge of computer system analysis, design and development with experience in all aspects of the computer systems application development life cycle.
Excellent Oral and Written communications skills with ability to interpret user requirements into functional and technical specifications for programmers and project documentation.
Candidate must have excellent organizational skills with ability to work with minimal supervision and provide direction to programming staff. A working knowledge of office products MS Word, Excel, and graphics software programs is also required.
Ability and determination to learn new and exciting information technologies to develop and deliver world class business applications.
Customer Service oriented individual with strong people skills to support our internal and external customers.

Education / Experience
College degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent experience.
Five years experience in position with similar type of responsibilities in an Information Technology department.

Work environment that is very team oriented with educational opportunities for enhancing the skills needed to meet the positions job responsibilities. Position is based at the San Francisco office; work assignments may requirement travel to other bay area sites or travel to regional offices.

Responsibilities
Application developer position responsible for designing, developing, and implement business applications. Communicates with technical and non-technical staff to collect business requirements and translates the requirements to technical computer specifications for application development. Specifies logic detail, system test plans, prepares documentation, procedures and detailed assignment specifications. Has understanding of object oriented design and analysis methodology; is experienced with relational database design. Familiar with solutions incorporating client/server and distributed computing paradigms, as well as Web Based Services and applications.
