Qualifications

Koch Shipping is the marine transportation group of Koch Industries,
a privately held, diversified industrial company with HQ in Wichita, Kansas

We presently voyage charter 600+ tankers each year in all liquid
trades worldwide.

Due to pending transfer of the present incumbent, we have need in
the near future for an experienced tanker officer to fill the role of Vessel
Operations Coordinator.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this demanding position are related to
ensuring the successful and incident free execution of ship voyage charters
carrying Koch chemical, product, LPG and naphtha cargoes worldwide.
Your background should include:
* Service at sea as a Chief Officer/mate of a clean or chemical
tanker,
* Some shore experience engaged in chartering or chartered vessel
operations.
* Proficiency in the use of standard computer workstation programs
Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

You will also back-up the tanker vetting duties of the Manager,
Marine Operations who is your direct supervisor.
Your clients will be internal traders and cargo schedulers, many of
who will rely on you to provide detailed tanker operations expertise in
support of the successful completion of their cargo trades.

Compensation is commensurate with your experience.
