Qualifications
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Must meet minimum security requirements and complete pre-employment physical.
Willing to complete 8 week paid training program.
Must have strong eye-hand coordination.
Must comprehend written and verbal instructions in English.
Ability to work at heights, confined spaces and on any shift.
Ability to recognize and avoid potential hazards, hear warning signals, read and comprehend safety instructions.
Responsibilities
Weld parts in position for fabrication of vessels, tanks or other structural assemblies.
Use carbon electrodes to cut, shape, and groove metal.
Prepare workplace for welding by cleaning and/or preheating.
Examine weld sizes of weld beads.
