Qualifications
Personnel Qualification
Possess a degree in engineering or science.
Conversant in English.
PC literate – Ms Office Applications.
Responsibilities
Personnel Experience
Must have at least 10 years of working experience in drilling operations with at least 5 years of working experience as a well planning engineer for an oil and gas operator.
At least 2 years wellsite experience on offshore rig (floater, jack up, etc.).
Has done work to update Well Engineering Manuals & Management System and establish procedures for Jackup rig positioning.
Knowledge of DTL well delivery process.
Knowledge of HSE Management System.
Purpose
Responsible for all well engineering planning activities and provides technical expertise to ensure quality, cost effective and safe implementation of drilling projects for COMPANY.
To update Well Engineering Manuals & Management System and establish procedures for Jackup rig positioning.
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Update Well Engineering Manuals & Management System for Well Engineering Services Department and procedures for Jackup rig positioning.
Provides detailed design for quality and cost effective well designs, ensuring that they are safe and within practical implementation boundaries of rig, equipment and technology.
Responsible to complete the Field Development Plan (FDP) and Drilling Planning Document (DPD) for all aspects of detailed design in trajectory, casing, bits, pressures fluids, evaluation and completion.
