Qualifications
Qualification / Experience Required
• University degree in Engineering with minimum total of 15 years work experience in oil and gas design engineering industry. Of which, 10 years is directly involved in PDS design activities with minimum of 5 years experience in managing PDS Section.
• Experience in PDS should include Unix/Clix and PDS System Administration, Project set-up, RDB set-up, IsoGen set-up, lFC set-up, network utilities in NT server environment, interface of PDS to other engineering software packages and trouble shooting of PDS related issues.
Responsibilities
Job Description
• Establishment, enhancement and management of PDS Section, including establishment, maintenance and updating of engineering norms related to PDS activities.
• Prepare competitive man-hour estimates for tendering purposes, in accordance to established norms.
• Participate in scope, design and technical review and to formulate PDS design strategy to implement PDS activities in efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Spearhead PDS design activities, including customization and support to construction fabrication and installation, in collaboration with Lead Engineers and Project Engineering Managers.
