Qualification & Experience
Engineering Graduates with at least 5 years experience in planning and cost control on Oil & Gas project. Must have extensive computer skills and experience with latest control programs.

Responsibilities

Job Description
Responsible for producing all schedules and plans for the Offshore Operations Dept., as well as monitoring the expenditures and costs of the equipment and personnel involved in executing all offshore projects. Also responsible to:
• Produce bi-weekly marine spread utilization schedules in co-ordination with Offshore Operations, Construction Managers (CM), and the Planning Department.
• Produce schedules for boats and barges in co-ordination with Construction Managers that are linked with standard resource allocations created by Offshore Operations for all modes of barge activities.
• Produce and update resource histograms for scheduled work for Offshore Operations derived from standard resource allocations.
• Monitor utilization of project resources during execution and indicate deficiencies and overruns in comparison to estimates and produce monthly reports for PMs and CMs.
• Continually update scheduling and tracking of marine spreads to determine deviations from approved schedules that are to be reported to relevant section heads.
• Allocate cost codes for offshore activities in conjunction with Estimating and Accounting.
• Monitor proper cost coding for offshore personnel, activities, requisitions, invoices etc. against approved operating and capital budgets and indicate discrepancies to responsible sections.
• Monitor expenditures against approved operating and capital budgets and indicate discrepancies to responsible sections.
• Provide updated leave schedules for Field Engineers, Barge Supervisors, and Offshore Operations Management to uniformly spread responsibility and workload based on resource histograms.
• Allocate and monitor proper cost codes for marine equipment assigned to the execution of projects.
• Review barge cost control reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with accepted procedures..
