Qualifications
Service at sea as a Chief Officer/Mate of a ocean going tanker
Some shore experience engaged in chartering
Some tanker vetting experience is required
Proficient with the use of computers, Word, Excel, etc.
Detailed knowledge of petroleum measurement techniques
Development of oil measurement analysis systems would be helpful.
Detailed understanding of OCIMF SIRE inspection process.
Excellent communication & presentation skills required.
High School diploma or equivalent required
Bachelors degree in Maritime or related majors preferred
Responsibilities
As the Manager for Measurement & Vessel Quality, you will be responsible for managing the Measurement Accuracy Group. This involves 7 direct reports who include 6 field agents and 1 Administrative Assistant. You will be working with a variety of independent contractors and ship inspectors to ensure the proper petroleum cargo measurement activities are taking place. This person will also handle all primary ship vetting for KS&T. In addition will provide voyage chartered ship operations backup to handle small operational non-conformities, absences, etc. You will be a part of the Koch Shipping management team for our world-wide operations out of Wichita, Kansas.
