Position Summary:
The role of Post-Voyage Analyst is key to the overall ship routing operations at WNI, and one that will help ensure we continue to deliver world-class service to our major shipping clients. Using knowledge of the weather and ocean currents throughout the world, combined with vessel and cargo type, you will assess the performance of every vessel routed by WNI to determine if it has performed as expected. It will be your task to reconstruct voyages and compare the actual vessel track with alternative routes, and evaluate performance benefits, knowing the meteorological conditions over the various routes. In addition you will liaise with clients, Customer Services and Risk Communicators concerning vessel performance.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
* Utilize proprietary software systems to measure vessel performance.
* Monitor and evaluate meteorological and oceanographic conditions over the world’s oceans on a regular and continuous basis.
* Analyze vessel performance data for each completed route and prepare a post voyage report.
* Compare actual vessel tracks with various other route options and evaluate the benefit of the service provided by WNI.
* Interact with affiliated offices to ensure the clients obtain the information they require in a timely manner.
* Participate in team meetings when required.
* Perform additional assignments or tasks as required by Manager or Supervisor.

* Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Full computer literacy.
* Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
* Under-graduate Maritime degree or 3 years experience in the Marine industry or related field.
