Qualifications

Four to five years of hands-on quality control experience in a manufacturing environment, engaged in the production of air conditioning and/or refrigeration equipment. Four to five years of field experience, troubleshooting and repairing installed air conditioning and/or refrigeration equipment. Must be able to speak and write English. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus. Must be authorized to work in the US. Must be a team player with some computer skills, and the ability to work flexiable hours to meet changing deadlines.

Responsibilities

To provide final inspection, operational and visual on all air conditioning and refrigeration products produced by this 62 year old manufacturer of marine air conditioning systems. Must have a full understanding of the fundamentals of air conditioning principals, with a good electrical background. Must be able to generate detailed test procedures. Must have the ability to troubleshoot customer returns and articulate defective conditions, and reasons for the defect.
