Qualifications
The ideal candidate should be appropriately qualified, possess excellent communication skills, preferably with 15 years relevant sea & shore experience, including 5 years in a similar position. You must be proficient in computer based software applications and with an excellent command of written/spoken English. Knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage.
Responsibilities
Our client, one of the leading Gulf and Middle East logistics organisation has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Technical & Fleet Manager in Qatar.
Successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and economic operation of the department for technical management, preventive maintenance, repair, dry docking, annual budget, cost-control, new building, crewing, quality and safety management system, ensuring conformity with the requirements of International classification societies, for a fleet of vessels consisting of fully cellularised container vessels, towing tugs, harbour tugs, AHTS/safety/utility vessels.
