Qualifications
This position requires a level of sales experience, contacts and existing relevant relationships that will enable the holder to quickly identify opportunities and close sales of Pragmatic Transportation Management Solutions and other services to the international transportation functions of retailers and manufaturers. Proven success in sales plan development and execution, a good understanding of IT methods and logistics management tools, and experience in international containerized transportation and logistics are essential.
Responsibilities
• Identify opportunities to optimize processes and systems for the management of international transportation for potential clients.
• Ensure alignment of customer reqiurements with Americas Systems capabilities.
• Develop value proposition and business case with VP or C-level contacts.
• Manage all aspects of the sales cycle, from initial contact, through proposal management to contract closure.
• Develop multi-level relationships, orchestrating the technical and senior management resources of Americas Systems as required to gain contract signature and customer satisfaction.
• Through relationships based on quality, integrity and shared business value, create a portfolio of highly satisfied and referencable customers.
