WORLD-LINK COMMUNICATIONS, Inc. provides communication services and solutions to the merchant marine industry. Our clients are owners, managers and operators of small and medium merchant vessel fleets.
WORLD-LINK COMMUNICATIONS, was established in 1989 and currently serves a fleet of more than 600 ocean going vessels.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
World-Link Communications is seeking experienced sales managers with a proven track record of generating revenue and closing sales. The Company is expanding its market coverage and requires sales managers for the US, Northern Europe, Middle East, Singapore and Hong Kong. The successful candidate should be independent, self motivated, posses strong interpersonal skills and ability to articulate feature and benefits of products. Most importantly be passionate about prospecting and developing new business. Experience in Satellite Communication or the marine industry is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for prospecting of new accounts, as well as, managing and maintaining good relationship with customers. Complete responsibility of the sales cycle from prospecting to closing. Responsible for achieving budgets and goals.
Develop marketing strategies and sales programs, including sales budgets, market share, and achievement metrics.
Prepare proposals and negotiate with customers.
Ensure after sales services meet customers’ expectations.
Market & sell World-Link Communications services to Ship owners, managers & operators.
Prospect & develop new business
Maintain a relationship with our current and potential customers.
Provide our customers with support as needed.
Advice World-Link Communications management on new opportunities in the market/demand for new services.
Marketing intelligence: competitors’ rates, competitors’ services, new services in the market, new market entrants.

Compensation:
Base salary plus commission. This is a full time position.
