Qualifications

The successful candidate will be assisting the Shift Manager to directly supervise floor staff within his/her gaming area.

1 Minimum 5 years’ experience in gaming industry with at least 2 years in supervisory role
2 Strong supervisory skills
3 Customer service orientated
4 Strong interpersonal skills to deal with multinational customers and staff

Responsibilities

1 Ensuring the efficient operation of the gaming floor.
2 Allocation of the staff to tables ensuring the integrity of the game is not jeopardized.
3 Development of subordinates in both work related skills and customer service areas.
4 To provide motivation, guidance and support to subordinates.
5 To identify the individuals who needs attention and / or training, and ensuring that training is conducted.
6 To ensure subordinates adhere to the gaming procedures, as set out in the ‘Star Cruises Gaming Procedures’ manual.
7 Conduct appraisal of the staff as set out by Head Office.
8 Effectively resolve customer complaints / disputes where possible, or refer such matters to superior.
9 Attend shipboard duties such as safety drills, Passenger muster drills, etc.
10 Peform ‘Duty Manager’ task during port time.
11 Shall ensure the highest standards of appearance, communication and cooperation are upheld, and guide / direct subordinates to the same standard.
