Qualifications
Thordon Bearings Inc. is the largest worldwide manufacturer of polymer journal bearings for marine, pump, and hydroelectric and offshore industries. The company is located in Burlington, Ontario, Canada and is seeking an Area Sales Manager. The candidate will report directly to the Commercial Director. The appropriate candidate will have the following qualifications:
- International marketing sales experience
- Previous sales experience in commercial/marine and/or industrial sales
- Preferably an engineering degree or business management degree
- Experience in ship propulsion systems a definite asset
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for providing your best efforts in promoting and developing sales of Thordon products including marine, offshore, hydro-turbine and industrial bearings, systems and related equipment within the geographic territory defined by Thordon Bearings. You will also be responsible for managing 10-15 Distributors/Agents.
Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
