Education and Experience:
Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
The MSRC Responder specializes in all phases of oil spill response equipment operation, preventive maintenance, deployment, retrieval, cleaning, and storage. Position requirements include maintaining a readiness position in accordance with MSRC's policies, and must be available to travel. Basic seamanship skills including line handling, rigging and small boat operations including anchoring and mooring are essential. Additional desired skills include: experience in responding to emergencies, warehouse management, oil spill experience, and a mechanical aptitude.
