Account Executive
Qualifications
Successful candidate will have a BS or BA in a business-related field and at least 2 years sales experience, preferably in the trade/transportation industry. (Having a book of business is a plus.) Strong communication and MS office computer skills are required as is a strong work ethic and flexibility for day to day activities. The position will require a Property & Casualty license (may be obtained upon hire) and travel. Relocation to another Avalon office may be available.
Responsibilities
Avalon is looking for a highly motivated self-starter with at least 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the trade/transportation industry, to solicit new sales using cold calling, prospecting, lead qualification, etc. This position will also involve proposals, renewals, customer service, and travel. Strong communication and organizational skills are a must.
