QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor's degree in Engineering is the usual minimum requirement to qualify for this position.
ADM requires the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and a background check.

JOB TITLE Engineering Management
OVERVIEW:
To prepare individuals for management responsibilities, by rotating among the various departments in order to develop familiarity with the whole organization and its functions.
Specific duties of this position may vary widely
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Promote a team environment at ARTCO, and supports ARTCO’s policies and procedures.
2. Understand and execute individual responsibilities toward ADM/ARTCO’s safety programs.
3. Complete a minimum of six months aboard an ARTCo line vessel as a full time assistant engineer.
4. Perform a minimum of two main engine overhauls and one generator overhaul as part of overhaul crew
5. Work with Port Engineers in all engineering aspects of company, including handling maintenance of all power systems of both harbor tugs and lineboats, engine overhauls, vessel dockings, and engineering personnel management.
6. Fulfill various other assignments and duties, including barge inspections, elevator and dock assignments, and line and harbor deckhand duties.
7. Complete assignments at various ARTCo locations, including fleeting, shipyard, and terminals.
8. Other related duties as assigned.
