Qualifications
1. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
2. Ability to learn in-house computer software
3. Accuracy, 10-key and typing skills
4. Ability to work independently
5. Prior accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
6. College degree in accounting or accounting related field preferred
7. Excellent communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities
1. Posting invoices/checks
2. Making/recording deposits
3. Monitoring/controlling cash flow of vessel accounts
4. Rendering 30+ vessels a month.
5. Supplemental account billing
6. Generating/updating revenue and vessel reports
7. Answering Vendor/Principal questions
8. Review Aging A/P and A/R statements
9. Maintain good communication with Management and Operations Department
