Qualifications

CLUS has created an excellent opportunity for an experienced Marine Surveyor & Director to handle all marine related cargo and liability claims for the company. This position will be based in the New Jersey/ New York area and ideal for someone already living there.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in and understanding of marine cargo and liability claims as well as solid experience (10+ years) handling these types of claims. The ideal candidate for this position comes from a seafaring background and is familiar with Incoterms 2000. This is a newly created position for our US company and in addition to handling all appropriate claims, the selected candidate will be ambitious and sales oriented to grow the business.

While this position will be US based, it will work closely with our Cunningham Lindsey Marine division based in Europe. Occasional overseas travel may be required. This position includes a very competitive salary commensurate with experience, a company car or car allowance, a complete benefits package and a growth oriented incentive opportunity.
