Qualifications
Technical specialist who possesses advanced knowledge in a professional/technical discipline. Leads and/or conducts complex engineering studies using advanced concepts. Will be considered as a technical expert in his/her Division or group. Manages oil and gas production operations to maximize profits in assigned area. Develops and implements short-term and long-term strategies for well fields. Develops completion, recompletion and workover plans for new and existing wells. Provides cost and timing estimates for future workovers. Reviews economic status of well fields. Requests and reviews bids for work to be performed. Selects contractor and equipment and executes the proposed work. Provides recommendations to optimize completion design.

Duties and Responsibilities<p>
• Provides technical support for oil and gas production operations
<p>
• Analyzes well production records and well test information
<p>
• Interfaces with team members concerning future development plans
<p>
• Coordinates with partners on non-operated wells to determine optimal production flows
<p>
• Prepares and monitors capital budgets
<p>
• Provides production engineering support to other company technical staff and departments as required
<p>
• Applies specialized knowledge to complete projects of complexity
<p>
Requirements
<p>
• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline and ten years experience in oil and gas production operations or related field
<p>
• Working knowledge of Nodal analysis methods and techniques
<p>
• Proficient in completion, workover and production of oil and gas wells
<p>
