Excellent opportunity to become a key member of the management team in this large, high profile marine oil terminal business unit of a prominent, global energy company. The client seeks a Manager to oversee the safe and environmentally compliant operations and maintenance of facilities treating oily ballast water and vapor discharges. Calls for strong management, technical and environmental agency interface skills. Compensation ranges from $140,000 - $160,000 per year depending on overall qualifications, plus annual bonus potential to 30%, 7% 401K match, pension plan, excellent benefits and comprehensive relocation package.<br>
<p>
Excellent opportunity for advancement in 2-5 years to expanded leadership roles in operations, engineering or maintenance within the terminal or pipeline, or possibly a corporate assignment.<br>
<p>
The Manager will oversee ~50 employees to optimize operational, environmental and safety performance, improve emergency preparedness, oversee permit Air Quality and NPDES permit negotiations and manage costs associated with major hazardous wastewater and air treatment facilities.<br>
<p>
Candidate Profile:<br>
<ul><li>BS Engineering.
<li>15 years overall experience with at least 5 years in operations/maintenance of ballast water and related facilities in a tanker and or oil terminal.
<li>Track record of achievements leading to expanded roles and accountabilities.
<li>Broad technical knowledge of multiple, complex systems, processes and operations.
<li>Experience in interacting tactfully with diverse stakeholders including regulatory agencies.
<li>Environmental permit negotiation and compliance experience.
<li>Experience managing or materially participating in the management or a facility subject to USCG and or DOT Regulations governing Hazardous liquids.
<li>Strong record of HSE performance.
<li>U.S. or Canadian citizenship required.</ul><br>
