Helix
has a need for a dynamic and talented Chief Engineer.  The
qualified incumbent will: Overall
responsibility for the management of the Marine Engineering and Maintenance
department on a dynamically positioned production vessel. Supervising
the safe operation and maintenance of the vessels mechanical and electrical
systems. Ensuring that the planned maintenance system is followed and updated as
per company policy and regulatory requirements. Ensuring that the recommended
and required spare part stocks are maintained as per Company and Class
requirements. Interfacing with the vessels Master and Client’s Representative to
assure that company goals and objectives are met.<o:p></o:p>
 Experience Required:
<o:p></o:p>
Licensed
Chief Engineer of vessels of unlimited tonnage/horsepower, in accordance with
STCW 95. Minimum 5 years experience as a Senior Engineer on DP operated
Production, Drilling or Diving Vessels. Experience operating and maintaining
Diesel-Electric power plants and DP Class II Power Management Systems. Solid
knowledge of SMS and ISPS codes. Knowledge of offshore production processes and
applicable Class / USCG rules is preferable, but not required.  Ability to work offshore for extended
periods of time.
