Qualifications
Applicants should have a BS degree or equivalent in meteorology or physical science, have at least 5-years experience in operational marine weather forecasting, and be familiar with global numerical weather and sea models. A working knowledge of the marine transportation industry is desirable.
Responsibilities
Primary duties will be ship weather routing and forecasting in support of marine transportation activities, but other marine weather forecasting applications will also be performed.
