Qualifications
EDUCATION: Four year Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance/Business, CPA Certification required.
WORK EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years professional accounting and related financial experience.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE LEVEL: Proficient knowledge of personal computers (including Excel and Word) and mainframe information systems. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Effective analytical and organizational skills. Bilingual (Spanish/English) required.
Responsibilities
Crowley Maritime Corporation, a leader in worldwide ocean transportation, has an opportunity for a Sr. Accountant to provide timely and accurate financial reports and information to management and other external parties through analysis, review and maintenance of historical general ledgers, financial management reports, and systems. To assist the manager of Financial Reporting in ensuring the integrity of the Company's balance sheet.
