Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field, preferred.
WORK EXPERIENCE: Minimum five to ten years experience in field sales with at least three years experience in the transportation industry, preferably with an ocean carrier.
SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE LEVEL: Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Self-starter with high degree of initiative and ability to accomplish goals with minimum supervision. P.C. skills preferably Word, Excel, ACT and Powerpoint. Specific knowledge of Latin American market preferred; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Willing to travel extensively.
Responsibilities
Crowley Maritime Corporation, a leader in world wide ocean transportation, has an opening in our Westmont, IL office for a Sr. Account Executive to generate and maintain the highest volume of profitable cargo movements possible from the assigned territory. This individual will also act as liaison between the accounts and the Company to assist in this effort.
