Experience and general knowledge in the following areas is highly desirable: Financial management and reporting; Finance; Public human resources administration; Public employee relations and labor relations; Marketing, Public/Community/Media Relations; Organizational development; Governmental accounting; Public relations; Equal Opportunity Management. Desired BA/BS in related field - experience may be substituted.
Responsibilities
: Under the direction of the Executive Director, acts as a general top level assistant, and serves as Executive Director in his/her absence. Administers divisions and/or departments to include: Business and Financial Services Division; Administrative Services Division; and Marketing, and Corporate/Community Relations Division. As Deputy Executive Director of the District, manages, coordinates, and evaluates the efforts and accomplishments of the selected divisions or departments and performs related work.
