We currently have an opening at our O'Hare facility for an IMPORT/EXPORT AGENT. The successful candidate will be responsible for all rating of outbound international freight, price quotations, documentation, system entry, and customer service for import and export activity. The successful candidate will possess the following: - a high school diploma or GED; - the basic understanding of import/export operations and customs brokerage at the station level, including rating and routing of freight; - knowledge of accounting principles, functions, and terminology; - at least one year of import/export experience, preferably in the airfreight industry; and - excellent communication skills with customers and coworkers.
