Responsibilities
Chief engineers are responsible for supervising an oiler; standing an engine room watch; maintaining engine room readiness; reporting vessel readiness to Master; repair and maintainance of vessel machinery and systems; maintaining appropriate paperwork; maintaining operational condition of vessel; carrying out emergency duties; handling transfer hoses; supervising transfer operations;liquid mud circulation.
Work schedule; 14 days on / 14 days off 12hrs. per day
28 days on / 28 days off 12hrs. per day
