Qualifications
Formal training after high school and on-the-job training in related field.
Minimum of three years experience of which two years must have been in an intermodal or dispatch function
Responsibilities
To coordinate the inland movement of containers/trailers between various origins and destinations.
Seasoned knowledge of transportation equipment, terminology, and DOT regulations required. CICS experience preferred. Basic PC skills required. Experience assigning and dispatching moves to motor/rail carriers required. Effective communication and organizational skills.
