Qualifications
Maritime background, (surface warfare, preferably Aegis) with extensive experience in joint air and missile defense operations, defense of the fleet and littoral air defense operations. Army Air Defense Artillery background with hands-on joint theater air and missile defense systems operations, knowledge of USA Air Defense Artillery Systems both HIMAD and SHORAD. USAF operational background with knowledge of air operations both offensive and defensive. Knowledge of air command and control both ground and air control procedures. Operational experience with AWACS, ground TACS, multi-role fighter aircraft as well as the interoperability requirements for conducting air battle. Knowledge of NMD is desired but not required. Experience in battle management, command, control communications, and intelligence (BMC4I) is desired. Knowledge of DoD systems acquisition management and requirements. Experience in developing military joint doctrine and application of doctrinal concepts. Experience as staff officer on the Army Staff (operations and requirements), Joint Staff is required.
Responsibilities
Position Description for JTAMDO Assessments. Support to the Joint Theater Air and Missile Defense Organization (JTAMDO) providing technical and operational support to the JTAMDO Staff for JTAMD assessments as it relates to operational TAMD warfighting requirements and both systems and operational architectures. This candidate will perform the duties of lead JTAMDO contractor facilitator for the Integration WIPT.
