Qualifications
You will be knowledgeable about business functionality in one or more of the following areas: manufacturing, materials inventory, accounting or finance, and will have experience working with a structured software development methodology. You will have a minimum of seven years experience with one or more of the following: COBOL, JCL, IMS DB/DC, DB2, and Easytrieve, and experience on the HP3000 with COBOL and PowerHouse is a plus. You will have a Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline or equivalent experience. You must have strong time management skills, and have the ability to train lower level employee on technical topics and development methodology. You will be expected to show initiative and judgement while performing assigned tasks. You will have the ability to work in a multitasking environment, must be able to work to detailed project schedules and must be customer oriented with a service attitude. You will have a working knowledge of COBOL. You should have programming skills in at least one language, should be able to demonstrate problem solving ability, and have the ability to work under pressure, be a team player and have customer facing skills. Responsibilities
You will performs technical programming work on complex technical assignments, and interact with clients and management on a regular basis to define tasks, schedules and to resolve project performance issues. You will participates as a performer and directs others on software development projects. You will be responsible for analysis and development of detailed programming specifications, and be responsible for performing programming tasks based on programming specifications. You will work independent of direct supervision on projects which have financial impact on the account. You must be available to assist with off hours support to resolve system processing issues, and perform as a task leader on maintenance and development projects. You will provide day to day support to meet agreed customer satisfaction levels as measured by a range of operational performance criteria against agreed SLA's, develop software in accordance with standards, to time, to quality and within budget. Your responsibilities will improve Customer Support and Service Delivery, receiving, diagnosing and resolving daily problems/requests and analysing problem history and recommending and initiating service improvement programmes.
