Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
2-3 years experience in distributed systems architecture, networks, network topologies, and PC workstations. Experience in the following Desktop and Client/Server Platforms: Windows NT, Windows 95/98, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Explorer, Visual Basic, NT Server, Oracle, Internet and Intranet. Some experience with small to large projects in a cross-functional environment
Responsibilities
To implement network architectures, including LANs/WANs, LAN internetworking and connections with the WAN environment.
Basic understanding of distributed systems architecture and general knowledge of multiple technical disciplines. Technical knowledge and aptitude in the areas of networks, network topologies, PC workstations (configuration and connectivity), network file servers, applicable software, and troubleshooting techniques. Ability to understand and assist in solving network server problems or network infrastructure issues. Basic understanding of the enterprise business and business processes; awareness of business unit functions and cross-group dependencies/relationships. Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) required.
