U.S. Citizen or legal resident.
Responsibilities
Reports to Service Manager
Company represents leading marine engineering equipment manufacturers, on a national basis.
Prefer recent Maritime College Engineering graduate, with sailing time, computer skills, and knowledge of ship's machinery.
Job requires availability to travel 24/7. Travel approximately 75%.
Applicant will attend factory training (in Europe & Japan); survey vessels in port for installation quotations; respond to service calls; service equipment returned to plant.
Applicant must be able to give instruction to ship's Engineers & Deck Officers. Follow up work with USCG & Classification Societies, where required.
Inside & otside contact with Port Engineers; Engineering Managers and Purchasing Managers.
