Qualifications
Two positions for SENIOR MARINE ENGINEER are open in the Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering Group reporting to the Manager of the group. Candidates would be also responsible for supervision and guidance of marine engineers and designers. Minimum of 10 years related experience, preferably 5 years with the Floating Production Systems, and a relevant engineering degree are required.
Responsibilities
The role will require specification and design co-ordination of marine systems and utilities for new vessels. In addition specification and detailed design of modifications for the upgrade and conversion of existing systems, will be required, particularly for the conversion of existing hulls to FPSO / FSOs.
Experience gained at sea on large motor or steam VLCC’s, or construction/conversion shipyard experience, either in discipline or surveying roles would also be highly regarded.
Must be fully conversant will all Classification regulations, plus International Marine Codes and regulations
