Qualifications
Profile:
Minimum BS degree from a recognized university in an engineering discipline (i.e., structural, civil, mechanical, ocean, naval architecture, etc.)
Minimum 5 years experience in an offshore oil industry related engineering company
Experience with Single Point Moorings and Floating Storage and Offloading systems is beneficial
Skilled in the development and writing of technical proposals for existing products, new concepts, and engineering studies within established deadlines.
Competent in detailed review and assessment of client bid documents.
Capacity to interface with in-house technical, operations, marketing, administrative, and management personnel.
Ability to create and communicate ideas and strategies.
Experienced at effective liaison with clients, suppliers, and vendors.
Knowledgeable in coordination with cost estimators develop project costs.
Experienced with state-of-the-art computer methods of proposal layout and presentation.
Responsibilities
Proposal Development Engineer / Proposal Coordinator to develop technical proposals in support of new business. This position is within the Engineering Department directly accountable to the Manager, Proposal Development. Occasional national or international travel may be required in support of sales and marketing efforts.
