Qualifications

coordination with governmental and non-governmental organizations to integrate regional, state, local development initiatives into a comprehensive plan; organizing and conducting meetings, serving as an information clearinghouse; managing all outside services, including consultants.
Successful candidate will have advanced degree in public policy, urban planning (or equivalent experience); experience in program management; background in maritime, port and intermodal operations, environmental issues/regulations; excellent communications/consensus building skills.

Responsibilities

Report regularly to the Consortium on the status of CPIP development.
Coordinate with Consortium and Co-Lead Agency partners and government and non-government organizations to integrate various regional, state and local port improvement initiatives into a comprehensive plan.
Coordinate the CPIP development process, including the work efforts of the CPIP Steering, Management and Stakeholder Committees and the various Working Groups.
Organize and conduct meetings and serve as the clearinghouse for transmission of guidance, direction and information to the other CPIP committees, including preparation and distribution of minutes.
Manage all outside services, including consultants hired by the Consortium.
Be responsible for ongoing integration of the CPIP planning process and EIS preparation in coordination with the Co-Lead Agencies.
