Qualifications
Profile:
· A relevant engineering degree, preferably Masters Degree, and a minimum of 10 years related experience with at least 5 years in the engineering of offshore or sub-sea mechanical equipment.
· Experience in the design, specification, manufacture and testing of high integrity hydraulic control systems.
· Experience in specifying materials and components.
· Familiar with international offshore design standards and codes.
· Experience with design, assembly and testing of well control, sub-sea wellhead, or other sophisticated control equipment.
· Experience in working as part of a design team.
· Capable of performing required design calculations and preparing project documentation.
· Must be capable of occasionally supervising manufacturing and of assisting at fabrication and offshore sites with equipment installation, commissioning or maintenance.

Responsibilities
This positions is open in the Discipline Engineering Group of SBM-IMODCO.
The Hydraulic Systems Engineer will be responsible for the conceptual and detailed designs of high integrity hydraulic control and actuating systems for FPSO and mooring systems. This person will also be responsible for the specification of the systems and for supervision of the manufacture, testing and commissioning the system.
This position requires hands on experience with full knowledge of relevant design codes, state of the art calculation tools, and also requires involvement in and performing detailed work.
