 Experience: Transportation experience [P], Hazardous Materials experience [P], Customer Service experience [P]
 Education: High school diploma [R], Minimum 2 years higher education or suitable transferable business experience [P]
 Training: Outside training in customer service, interpersonal skills, and problem solving skills [P]
 PC Skills: Microsoft Word [P], Microsoft Excel [P]
 Other: Fluency in English (oral and written), Strong communication skills (oral and written), strong organizational and planning skills, PC knowledge, Self-motivator with team-oriented spirit

Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

To monitor all Hazardous Cargo documentation to insure compliance with all International, Federal and State Regulations.


KEY FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Receive and process all Vessel Partners requests for loading dangerous cargo to ANZDL vessels.
2. Check segregation on all Vessel Partners containers loading to ANZDL vessels.
3. Check all Vessel Partners Dangerous Goods Declarations upon receipt for accuracy.
4. Collate and prepare hazardous package for the ANZDL vessel planner.
5. Oversee ANZsafe program in conjunction with Vessel Close Team Leader.
6. Review all Import Dangerous Goods Declarations for compliance with National regulations.
7. Apply for any port permits on Import Cargo.
8. Oversee Environmental Control and Vessel Safety for North America
9. Coordinate ANZsafe program in North America.
