Qualifications
5+ yrs sales or direct customer support experience required. BS ME (or equal). AutoCAD or 3D modeling proficiency required. Must be able to multi-task several projects at one time. Excellent organizational skills. Strong oral and computer based communications skills. Mechanical or fabricated product background a must. Bluewater marine experience a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include: -Evaluating customer drawings and defining appropriate product configurations to meet customer's requirements. -Defining application solutions from standard product specification to custom product design. -Developing written proposals, quotations and closing final orders. -Coordinating with design and manufacturing teams to insure that products meet customer requirements and appropriate industry standards. -Assisting in development and maintenance of company databases. -Conducting client visits; attending trade shows and industry networking events as assigned. -Traveling (1-2 weeks per month average) required, including international. -Working effectively as a member of the overall sales team.
