Qualifications
The successful candidate will be a US citizen or possess a valid work visa, have an engineering or technical degree and have five or more years of ship systems experience, preferably some years as a ships engineer. Mechanical and electrical systems experience a must.
Responsibilities
John Crane-Lips is a global supplier of marine propulsion systems. We are currently accepting applications for technical service positions to provide on-site technical guidance during commissioning and / or overhaul and maintenance of our propulsion systems. Candidates should have a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems and be able to troubleshoot shipboard system problems. A strong knowledge of shipboard operations is desired. Candidates will be based in the United States and travel to work locations throughout North, South and Central America. Openings exist in Norfolk, Virginia and the US Gulf Coast.
