Qualifications
5-7 years of IT experience in a large-scale environment. Significant experience and knowledge in new computing architectures. Implementation experience in networked computing structure with INET design and development technologies. Required skills include ActiveX, CORBA, HTML, JAVA and Visual Basic. Knowledge of Object Oriented Development techniques and methodologies. 5 years experiences with distributed systems and application development in a UNIX or NT environment. In-depth experiences in application, information system designs and integration. 3-5 years of experiences in IT project management required.
Responsibilities
The purpose of this position is to develop and maintain an enterprise wide system strategy and system architecture that is closely aligned with Crowley's business strategy.
Develop and maintain technical standards and product development guidelines to ensure consistent approach throughout the organization.
Provide consultation on critical business problems, investigate and evaluate enabling technologies and recommend technical infrastructure and software solutions.
