Qualifications
This position is offered to a US citizen or legal resident, experienced marine professional, willing to work on land (or already doing it), with multiple type vessels, fleets and corporations. Knowledge and experience on p.m. on bunker/diesel tanks, filters, pumps, engines, exhausts. Wide personal contact list in marine market (from technical to executive levels) to facilitate communications and close sales. Technical skills market recognition desirable to be able to present and recommend the use of our product line. Responsible for all marine business in the State.
Responsibilities
Sales Engineer - Marine Market, State of Florida. Must call on all type of marine companies, from small fishing or tug, to medium shipping lines, casinos, tug & barge or fish fleets, to large cruise ship lines. Must have the qualifications and skills to meet with key technical people and decision makers: engine room chief mechanic, to ship's first officer, captain, or to port engineer, as well as administrative and purchasing executives. Important advantage: to have own client portafolio, experience, and proven success in sales to marine market. Position is not exclusive if approved candidate has other non-competitive (with ours) product lines sold to same client list. Training in tech and sales will be provided. Product line produced in NE USA, sold for almost 30 years, rarely sold in FL, now being introduced by our company on exclusive basis. Straight Commission to start, later company expenses, and stock options.
