Great Yarmouth is a sizable regional port containing some six thousand metres of commercial quays on both sides of the river Yare, adjoining a large port/industrial area known as South Denes. The turnover during the last five years (with exception of
1998) has been generally constant in the range £4 – 4.5M. The 1998 figures included an exceptional contract for pipe-laying.
