The mood of the FPSO industry is shifting from one of pessimism to that of cautious optimism. While the market is yet to fully recover, several FPSO contractors have begun to receive more enquiries, resulting in renewed optimism that substantial recovery is on the horizon.
One new FPSO contract has already been awarded in 2017 while six projects are being planned over the next two years and another six are expected to go through the tendering process.
