GREENWICH, Conn., May 25, 2011 -- RSR Partners announced today the appointment of Wendy Murphy as Managing Director and head of the firm's Chief Human Resources Officers' Practice ("CHRO"). Wendy is based in our Greenwich office and will also be a member of the firm's Board Recruiting Practice.

Wendy has over fifteen years of experience in management consulting and executive search, where she has conducted over 300 senior level searches during her career. She has spent much of her time in the "C-Suite" building relationships, while developing "best practice" talent management and organizational alignment. Wendy works with leadership on success factors for attracting and retaining top talent, capitalizing on close relationships in the talent market.

Wendy's previous experience includes a dozen years in executive search, most recently with Heidrick & Struggles as the Managing Partner and Head of the CHRO Practice. Her search assignments have spanned across financial, technology, transportation, consumer, federal government and non-profit sectors globally.

Wendy is active in multiple industry associations and serves on the Princeton Faith & Work Initiative Advisory Board. Wendy received her Bachelor's Degree from Louisiana Tech University. After years of living and working in Asia and Europe, Wendy now lives in Greenwich, CT with her husband.
