ATHENS, GREECE - July 20, 2011 – Excel Maritime Carriers Ltd (NYSE: EXM),
an owner and operator of dry bulk carriers and a provider of worldwide seaborne
transportation services for dry bulk cargoes, announced today that it will release its
results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2011 after the market closes on
Thursday, July 28, 2011.
On the next day, Friday, July 29, 2011 at 08:30 A.M. EDT, the Company’s
management will host a conference call to discuss the results.
