News Release
Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (Head Office)
February 18, 2012
February 16, 2012, Tokyo – MOL today updated On Time Arrival Performance results for October - December 2011 for the major East-West trade lanes as part of an ongoing effort to upgrade and improve the quality of services MOL Liner offers.
Measurement criteria are:
Scope of trade lanes is Asia - U.S. West Coast, Asia - U.S. East Coast, Transatlantic, and Asia - Europe.
When a vessel arrives in the first port of destination area for both directions, eastbound and westbound, within 24 hours of scheduled time of arrival, the voyage is regarded as On Time Arrival.
* Table 1 covers all vessels in the above scope and Table 2 covers MOL vessels under our operation. Both results are weight-averaged based on our allocation of each service.
*The performance of USEC services improved a lot, thanks to good weather condition at Asia side. Performance of USWC services were affected by strike in Oakland and rough sea in North Pacific Ocean.
