SBS Appoints Senior Air Freight Manager, 29th February 2012

London, 29th February 2012 - Supply chain solutions provider SBS Worldwide has
appointed Michael Mohan as its new UK Air Freight General Manager.
As part of SBS Worldwide’s senior management team, Mr Mohan will support the further
development of the air freight division’s continued growth in key markets and new industry
verticals.
He has also been tasked with delivering SBS’s new strategic business plan across its air
freight operation and supporting its drive to become fully integrated into customers’ logistics
operations through further IT developments.
SBS Worldwide Group Chairman Steve Walker said: “Michael will play a key role in
implementing our strategic global development plan and will strengthen company and group
structure.
“He is tasked with maintaining the momentum of our air freight product’s recent growth, while
also establishing SBS Worldwide as a leading player in new markets and industries.
“Michael is very experienced and we are confident he can meet this challenge.”
Mr Mohan, who is married with 4 grown up children and two grandchildren, has more than
30 years’ industry experience, having worked for major freight forwarders including Ceva
Logistics, Kuehne & Nagel and Schenker.

He is aided in his task by the ability to offer logistics consultancy services through Virtualized
Logistics – SBS Worldwide’s recently launched consultancy division.
