Tufton Oceanic was formed as a specialist firm for investing in energy and shipping 25 years ago and is today one of the pre-eminent Fund Management houses specializing in the maritime and energy related sectors. Tufton Oceanic formed its first shipping fund – International Shipping Investment Company - in 1989, and this has been followed by Shipping Bond Fund (2000), Oceanic Hedge Fund (2002), Alislami Oceanic (2004), Oceanic Energy Fund (2006), Oceanic Operating Lease Fund (2007), Oceanic Small Cap Fund (2007) and KFH Oceanic Portfolio (2008). The group currently has approximately USD 2 Billion under management.
