Specialising in hydraulic equipment, Rotator has been a major supplier of valves and actuators to the Norwegian and international offshore industry for more than 40 years. The company has developed its own hydraulic directional control valve, used world-wide on a large number of ships and oil and gas installations. A broad line of Rotator products, have moreover, become standard on oil and gas installations all over the world. Tailor made products, represent an equally important part of Rotator’s activities. As an example, Rotator can offer more than 600 variations of the directional control valve! Every valve developed at Rotator is manufactured for a «life span service» of minimum 30 years. The product line of Rotator also includes the design and manufacturing of complete control systems, like wellhead control systems. Hydraulic power units for all purposes and in all sizes may be delivered as well. Such power units can also be designed as combined power and control units. The market for floating production and storage units is rapidly expanding. Rotator made early efforts to develop and manufacture products for subsea installations. The Rotator’s subsea solenoid valve has become a standard model for the international oil companies and suppliers of subsea control systems. The flexible organisation of Rotator, its first class technology and outstanding product line make it possible to offer the customers tailor made solutions to their individual needs. The company is certified in accordance with the quality insurance system NS-ISO 9001.

Beginning in 2005 there will be a single trade fair in the Netherlands at which manufacturers and suppliers in the shipbuilding, dredging, merchant shipping, offshore, port administration, public authorities, international Rhine and inland navigation and professional fishery sectors of the maritime industry can present themselves. EUROPORT MARITIME 2005 will be held from 1 to 5 November 2005 at Ahoy’ Rotterdam. The fair programme will also include the CEDA Dredging Days, which will take place in Ahoy's conference area. The Ahoy’ organisation expects an increase in exhibition space of at least 20% in 2005 compared to the current edition, with further growth in 2007.
